As SUNUM, we hosted the European Microscopy Society (EMS) Board of Directors Meeting on April 10, 2026. Organized by Prof. Dr. Servet Turan from Eskişehir Technical University and chaired by Dr. Vladislav Krzyzanek, the meeting reviewed the association’s annual activities and discussed future plans. During the meeting, we provided Board members with information about SUNUM’s research infrastructure and showcased our technical capabilities.
The European Microscopy Society (EMS), of which the Turkish Electron Microscopy Society is a member, is an umbrella organization that supports the development of microscopy techniques and scientific collaborations across Europe. The Society brings together the microscopy community through international conferences, educational programs, and publications.
