The first consortium meeting of the TeamNANO project, coordinated by Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM) and co-funded by the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, was held online on November 6, 2024. SUNUM project team and project partners from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) and University of Southampton (UK) attended the meeting where project details were discussed.
“Teaming For Capacity Development And Synergies In Micro-Nanofabrication And Flexible Electronics For Widespread Impact TeamNANO” project is the highest budget project awarded to a single institution by the European Commission in the history of our country. TeamNANO will be carried out within the scope of the HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-01 (Teaming for Excellence) call with an EU budget of 9 million Euros, co-financed by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and supported by TÜBİTAK.
TeamNANO, whose launch meeting will be held in January 2025, aims to develop the devices and technological capabilities in SUNUM's clean room infrastructure through international cooperation. In this context, TeamNANO aims to increase the international competitiveness of our country in the field of science and technology, and to assume a leading role in new generation flexible electronic systems and micro-nanofabrication processes.
