In the TÜBİTAK BİGG Program's 2nd call for 2025, three SUNUM researchers have been awarded the Seal of Excellence .
SUNUM full-time researcher Dr. Hayriye Ünal and part-time researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Üna's business plan, Polium Scientific, which commercializes polymer technology, and The start-up Inter KA Microsystems Technology Inc., founded by SUNUM full-time researcher Kaan Demirel and aiming to develop innovative solutions in the field of advanced microsystem technologies, has been awarded the Seal of Excellence.
Polium Scientific received a €10,000 grant as one of 50 teams in the EIT Food Seedbed Program in July and won first place in the Food & Agritech category at the EIT Jumpstarter final, receiving a €10,000 grant award. Inter KA Microsystems Technology Inc. has also been awarded an investment of TRY 900,000 from TÜBİTAK.
