As part of the Light-G-Comp (Lightweight, sustainable and energy-efficient designs and production methods for upcycled Graphene reinforced hybrid Composites) project’s kick-off activities, a technical visit to the Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM) was held on May 7, 2025.
The Light-G-Comp, coordinated by SUNUM part-time researcher Burcu Saner Okan and aiming to foster Türkiye–Gulf collaboration, is funded by the Research & Innovation Center for Graphene and 2D Materials (RIC2D) at Khalifa University.
The visit welcomed representatives from project partners including Khalifa University, Strata, Farplas, Eurotec, and Euronova. During the SUNUM visit, the center’s infrastructure was introduced, and potential joint collaboration opportunities within the scope of the Light-G-Comp project were discussed.
