The LignoNANO Platform, supported by TÜBİTAK 1004 and led by SUNUM, has completed its 6th Period Peer Review process. The platform continues its work towards its goals in its final year.
On February 9, 2026, the online Governance and Social Impact Project Evaluation brought together the evaluators and project leaders. During the meeting, the Platform's governance processes were explained in detail to the evaluators, and information was provided about the Social Impact Project activities.
Platform Researchers also convened at the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center, Gebze Campus on 16 February 2026 for the Technical Review Meeting of the 6th Term Progress Report Referee Evaluation.Platform Stakeholders provided information to the reviewers about their work, which is being carried out with the vision of “being a pivot synthesis and production platform for different sectors for a sustainable circular economy,” and answered their questions. TÜBİTAK 1004 supported LignoNANO Platform, which is carried out under the leadership of SUNUM, aims to develop value-added advanced nanotechnological materials and systems for a sustainable circular economy. LignoNANO has a total of 29 institutions/organizations, including 4 public research centers, 2 of which are consultants/service providers, 20 private sector organizations, 4 of which are consultants/service providers, and 5 universities, and approximately 150 researchers.
Researchers on the platform carry out valuable studies with LignoNANO's vision of "developing innovative technologies and value-added functional advanced nano materials for scalable outputs, based on renewable raw material resources, with minimized environmental impacts."
