LignoNANO Strategic Target Situation Assessment Meeting was held on 22 July 2025, hosted by SUNUM- Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center.
The LignoNANO Platform, the second platform supported by TÜBİTAK 1004 and led by SUNUM, aims to develop advanced nanotechnological materials and systems with added value for a sustainable circular economy. In line with this aim, not only scientific but also high social impact studies are being implemented.
At the meeting, which held LignoNANO's 5th term situation assessment, the progress of projects in line with strategic objectives was discussed. During the meeting attended by project teams from institutions and organizations on the platform, APYK leaders shared updates on the current status of their work.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdal Temel, one of the part-time researchers at SUNUM, delivered a speech titled ‘’1004 Focused Strategic Objectives’’ in which he evaluated the current output-oriented status of the platform's 5th term. In his speech, emphasized the importance of invention disclosure, new product development, and patent activities; he also shared insights on the technology roadmap and answered questions from researchers. The meeting, attended by nearly 40 stakeholders, concluded after a summary of the day's discussions.
