The second China-Turkey Advanced Materials and Flexible Electronics Symposium (SAMFE-2025) began on December 2 in Nanjing, China.

Hosted by Nanjing Tech University (NJTech) and organized in collaboration with SUNUM Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center, Sabancı University, Istanbul Technical University (ITU), and Istinye University, the symposium will continue until December 5.

Bringing together researchers from Turkey and China, the symposium aims to gather researchers from fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, materials science, medical, and engineering to gain knowledge and skills to develop more advanced structures.

The main theme of SAMFE, which took place in Istanbul last May, encompasses the field of electronics in general, with seven focus themes: advanced functional materials for flexible structures, lighting and display, bioelectronics for healthcare, information science and technology, energy harvesting, wearable electronics, soft robotics, and quantum-enhanced flexible devices.
