“Bilateral Sino-Turkish Symposium on Advanced Materials and Flexible Electronics (SAMFE-2025)” organized for the first time in Istanbul this year in cooperation with Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and Nanjing Tech University (NJTech) on May 23rd, the sessions took place at SUNUM Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center.
This symposium aimed to bring researchers from different, as well as similar backgrounds, such as physical, chemical, biological, materials science, medical, and engineering together to gain knowledge and skills from various aspects to develop more advanced structures.
The main theme of SAMFE was advanced functional materials for flexible electronics in general, which include seven focused themes of lighting and display, bioelectronics for healthcare, information science and technology, energy harvesting, wearable electronics, soft robotics, and quantum-enhanced flexible devices.
