The Annual Evaluation Meeting of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), organized under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was held in Ankara on April 2, 2026. During the meeting, the current state of Türkiye’s digital transformation ecosystem was analyzed, and new EDIHs were introduced, including the SENSOR HUB project coordinated by SUNUM.

At the meeting, attended by officials from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, KOSGEB, and TÜBİTAK, the needs and expectations of EDIHs, opportunities for collaboration, performance and annual reporting issues, and co-financing options were discussed.

During the event, the first year of AI EDIH Türkiye, EDIH Anadolu, AgrInnovate EDIH, EDIH West Marmara, and MIDAS consortia was reviewed, and SUNUM Director, Prof. Dr. Alpagut Kara, shared details about the SENSOR HUB project.

The SENSOR HUB project, involves Arçelik, ATAP Anadolu Technology Development Park, BC Partnering, Bilkent UNAM, Gebze Technical University, ODTÜ MEMS ve TÜBİTAK MAM as partners. The project, which will last 36 months and be carried out with a total of 887,000 Euro in EU co-financing, aims to accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs, Start-Ups, and Public Institutions by creating a digital hub focused on sensor technologies and offering innovative and cost-effective services in Türkiye.
