On May 21, SUNUM and Koç University n2STAR (Koç University Nanofabrication and Nanocharacterization Center for Scientific and Technological Advanced Research) signed a “Collaboration and Mutual Laboratory Access Protocol.”
Within the scope of this collaboration, it is aimed to implement joint R&D projects in deep technology areas such as quantum hardware, micro/nano electromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS), next-generation energy storage technologies, and advanced functional coatings. The signing ceremony was attended by SUNUM Director Prof. Dr. Alpagut Kara, Koç University Vice Rector for Research and Innovation Prof. Dr. Hakan Ürey, n2STAR Director Prof. Dr. Erdem Alaca, SUNUM Deputy Director Dr. Mert Umut Özkaynak, and n2STAR Vice Director Dr. Burak Birkan.
This collaboration is intended to strengthen knowledge sharing and a culture of collaboration among researchers, thereby contributing to the research capacity of both institutions and to Türkiye’s scientific ecosystem.
