On 23 September 2026, we joined representatives from Bilkent UNAM, Koç University n2STAR and METU MEMS Center at a workshop hosted by Koç University. The workshop explored opportunities for joint activities and collaboration among Türkiye’s research infrastructures in micro and nanotechnology.
Discussions focused on complementary capabilities in micro and nanofabrication, alongside opportunities for collaboration in MEMS, photonics, semiconductor technologies and advanced manufacturing. Participants also discussed Horizon Europe, Chips Joint Undertaking and other international funding mechanisms, as well as models for researcher access, training, expertise sharing and joint project development.
The workshop explored the potential of sharing infrastructure and expertise to support joint project development, strengthen international collaboration and make Türkiye’s capabilities in these fields more visible and accessible.
