Following our training program at University of Southampton, SUNUM’s TEAM-NANO project lead researchers participated in the launch of the ECS Center for Neuromorphic Technologies (CeNT) on March 2, 2026, and the International Workshop on Molecular Ion-Based Neuromorphic Computing: From Polyoxometalates to Nanofluidic Ionotronics (POMorphics) held on March 3, 2026.
These events were co-organized by University of Southampton (Prof. Dimitra Georgiadou and Dr. Evangelia Founta) and Leibniz Institute of Surface Engineering (IOM Leipzig) (Dr. Kirill Monakhov), and supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
This comprehensive workshop provided a highly valuable platform for sharing the latest scientific developments in neuromorphic computing and discussing future research perspectives.
In line with TEAM-NANO’s capacity building and knowledge transfer objectives, such events play a crucial role in strengthening our researchers’ technical expertise and fostering international collaborations.
We would like to thank our partner University of Southampton for this valuable organization and their continued support.
We continue to advance our knowledge and infrastructure capacity in micro/nano technologies and neuromorphic systems together.
