As SUNUM, we celebrate the innovative contributions and leadership of women in entrepreneurship today and we are happy to share the inspiring achievements of our women researchers.
Start-up ChamBio, founded by Dr. Aysun Altan and Dr. Catherine Hirel Aslan, received international recognition with its project titled "Chitin and Chitosan Production from Microalgae". The startup passed the first stage of Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge and was selected as a "Deep Tech Pioneer" among 4,600 applications from 120 countries, as one step closer to the final.
We believe that our women entrepreneurs inspire a sustainable future with science and technology-based projects.
