Rükan Genç Altürk's research primarily delves into the innovative intersection of nanotechnology, materials science, and bio-applications. A significant portion of her work has been dedicated to the synthesis, modification, and utilization of fluorescent carbon dots for various purposes, ranging from sensing to supercapacitors. Furthermore, her work with nano-liposomal structures, smart polymeric materials, biomineralization of gold nanoparticles, and synthesis methods for monodisperse nanoparticles showcases an innovative approach towards nanomaterials design showcases a dedication to sensing purposes, drug delivery systems, self-healing and/or antibacterial materials, also stand out. Dr. Rukan Genç's research pursuits exhibit a multidimensional exploration into the arena of nanotechnology.
