Prof. İnci Eroğlu, National Hydrogen Association Vice President and the International Hydrogen Energy Association Executive Board Member, will be the guest at the Nano Open Webinar on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 between 11.00-12.00 at Zoom.

Prof. İnci Eroğlu, will talk about hydrogen ecosystem and its importance. Eroğlu will discuss the sustainability and environmental impact of hydrogen energy and Turkey's green hydrogen potential.

About Prof. İnci Eroğlu

Prof. İnci Eroğlu received her Engineer, Master of Science, and Doctorate degrees from the Chemical Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University. Eroğlu, who received her professorship in 1993, retired in 2016 after working as an academic in the same department for 43 years. Her research focused on Hydrogen Energy Systems, and she directed many projects, especially on biological hydrogen production, alkaline fuel cells, and proton exchange membrane fuel cells. She is the author of more than 300 scientific articles and several book chapters published in international journals and conference proceedings. Her publications have received more than 8250 citations for her work, and she also member of the Executive Board of the International Hydrogen Energy Association (IAHE) and the National Hydrogen Association Vice President. She received Nejat Veziroğlu Special Award in 2019 for her research and achievements in Hydrogen Energy.
