On the 103rd anniversary of the Victory of August 30, a symbol of our independence and freedom, we remember with love, respect, and gratitude our heroes who fought for our country, particularly Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Drawing strength from Atatürk's words, “Victory belongs to those who can say, ‘Victory is mine.’ Success belongs to those who begin by saying, ‘I will succeed,’ and end by saying, ‘I have succeeded,’” we continue to work tirelessly to elevate our country through scientific and technological endeavors.

Image: In the design created by the SUNUM Technical Team for 30 August Victory Day, Atatürk's iconic photograph at Kocatepe was converted into closed polygons in GDS format using Layout Editor software. It was then processed with BEAMER (GenISys) software into a GPF file and written onto a silicon substrate using the Raith EBPG5000plusES 100 kV Electron Beam Lithography System with a dose of 340 µC/cm². The substrate was coated with CSAR 6200:13 (400 nm) e-beam resist and developed with a CSAR developer after exposure. To prevent charging, a 20 nm thin Pd/Au film was sputter-coated on the surface. Finally, the sample was imaged using the JEOL JIB-4601 MultiBeam FIB-SEM system at 5 kV.
