Dr. Tanveer Alam, one of new researcher of the SUNUM Family, will talk about natural food colors on Nano Open Webinar on March 22, 2023.

Natural products are one of the hot topic nowadays. In this respect, both industry and science attach importance to natural product chemistry. Dr. Alam will discuss developments in natural food colors, stability, formulations and applications.

About Dr. Tanveer Alam

Dr. Tanveer Alam received his Ph.D. degree in the field of Natural Product Chemistry from School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India in 2000. From Nov. 2000 to Sept. 2001, he was a Post Doctoral Fellow at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India and worked on synthesis of water-soluble derivatives of Silymarin. Upon completion of his education, he started his career as an Executive-R&D in a Natural Flavor & Fragrances Company and after words he had served as General Manager & Head-R&D in different Natural Food Ingredients Industries. Dr. Alam has more than 20 years of R&D experiences in the field of Natural Food Ingredients. He has been worked as Associate Professor in Eritrea Institute of Technology, State of Eritrea. He is also a Member of Editorial Boards and Referee for more than fifty Journals. Dr. Alam is also an author and co-author of more than 60 research articles and 9 book chapters. He has one innovation patent on natural food color (Anthocyanin). Since March 2015, Dr. Alam was looking the R&D and commercialization of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants at University of Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman.
