SUNUM part time researcher Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çulha's study on cellular mechanisms was published in the Langmuir journal of ACS (American Chemical Society).
In the article titled “Discrimination of Receptor-Mediated Endocytosis by Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering”, it was demonstrated that the effects of two different ATP depletion agents can be distinguished by SERS, and therefore, receptor-mediated endocytosis can be monitored from single living cells without the use of labels and with limited sample preparation steps. The other author of the article is SUNUM project researcher Dr. Deniz Yılmaz.
