Dr. Syed Farhan Hasany, one of new researcher of the SUNUM Family, will talk about non covalent assemblies of Iron oxide-MWCNT Nanohybrids on Nano Open Webinar on December 28, 2022.

The two-dimensional components of nanohybrid system provide more opportunities to achieve the desired physicochemical properties. The enhanced behavior of nanohybrid systems is a direct result of non-covalent (van der Waals) assemblies and interlayer interactions.

The research was aimed to investigate the formation mechanism of (Hematite and Maghemite) Iron oxide – multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) nanohybrids. Because of the enhanced behaviors, the resultant mixtures were evaluated for metallic magnetic separation and gas sensing application, respectively.

Nano Open Webinar will be held on Zoom 11:00 on December 28, 2022. To register for the webinar otolab.sabanciuniv.edu

The webinar will be held in English.
