SUNUM researchers Assoc. Meral Yüce and one of SUNUM part-time researchers, Dr. Hasan Kurt’s study titled “Plasmonic group IVB transition metal nitrides: Production methods and applications in biosensing, photovoltaics and photocatalysis” was published in Advances in Colloid and Interface Science.
This review paper focuses on group IVB transition metal nitrides (TMNs) such as titanium nitride (TiN), zirconium nitride (ZrN), and hafnium nitride (HfN) and as alternative plasmonic materials to noble metals like gold and silver. The other authors of the paper are Ali Osman Çetinkaya (SUNUM), Atacan Tütüncüoğlu, Beyza Nur Günaydın (SUNUM), Cemre Irmak Kayalan, Mustafa Kemal Bayazıt (SUNUM), Milad Torabfam.
