SUNUM is one of the few centers in the world that can produce #borophene and offers it commercially, continues to take steps towards the commercialization of borophene with its collaborations. #Comfytex, which produces bedding fabrics within the body of #Küçükler Tekstil, cooperates with SUNUM to adapt borophene, a substance obtained from the boron mineral, into its products.
In the laboratory applications carried out by SUNUM researchers and company R&D engineers, it was observed that the thermal management ability of the mattress fabric increased at a high rate with the use of trace amounts of borophene. With the commercialization of this technology, it is aimed to improve sleep quality.
In the light of the obtained results, SUNUM and Küçükler Tekstil started large-scale production negotiations for textile applications of borophene.
