The 3rd International Symposium on Characterization took place at SUNUM
The 3rd International Characterization Symposium, organized by Afyon Kocatepe University, Giresun University, NED Engineering and Technology University (Department of Materials Engineering), Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology, TÜBİTAK MAM, and hosted by SUNUM, took place on 6-8 September 2023.
The symposium brought together international academics, researchers and scientists to discuss world-class results and recommendations on the soundest issues related to Applied Life Sciences, Medicine, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Materials Science, and Physics.
At the symposium, Syed Farhan Hasany from SUNUM presented his paper entitled "Green Synthesis of Nano Graphite Materials from Lemon and Orange Peel: A Sustainable Approach" and Tülay İnan from SUNUM presented her paper entitled "An Application of FTIR Spectroscopy and Chemometrics for Zeolite Y Characterization".
At the end of the second day, the Best Poster and Best Oral Presentation Awards and Organizing Committee Appreciation Plaques were given. One of our postdoctoral researchers, Melike Çokol Çakmak, received the Best Poster award, and our researcher, Tülay İnan, received the Second-Best Oral Presentation award.
